About Bloomington National Karate
Since 1973, the National Karate Academy has been dedicated to helping men, women and children discover the benefits of martial arts training.

About Matt and Kairstin Jarvi
Mr. Matthew Jarvi began his training in 1994, earned his first-degree black belt in 1999 and is currently the rank of 6th degree black belt. Mrs. Kairstin Jarvi began her training in 2006, earned her first-degree black belt in 2009 and is currently the rank of 4th degree black belt. Together they own the West Bloomington National Karate location. For the last 19 years, Mr. Jarvi has served his country in the Air National Guard and is currently active duty. Mrs. Jarvi went to Arizona State University for a Bachelor of Communication. Their military experience and education help their students thrive and grow into the best versions of themselves.
